Just write
Socrates, so they say, once said: “The unexamined life is not worth living”. Ever since I first read this, I've been thinking about this and wondering: is it so? And if so, what does examination mean?
I could just go and read the – presumably – tomes that have been written by people far more qualified than me, and in the course pick an explanation that suits me best.
But to me, writing about it instead feels a lot more like self-examination than doing the above.
So what does it mean? I suppose it means introspection, but in a sense that lets you derive some meaning and growth from it. Which this post might do, or it might not.
I haven't decided just yet.
